Socratic Dialogue Defined

My son, Seth Lopez made my heart melt before he slept last night. And yes, it made me cry.

SETH: Mommy, saan ang utak? Dito (touches his forehead)?
FAITH: (points at his head where the brain is).
Dito? (points at the right side of his chest).
FAITH: Your heart is here… (points at the middle of his chest) Lagay mo kamay mo dito, diba may heart beat? Diyan ang heart.
SETH: Opo. Eh mommy yung mahal, diba love yun mommy?
FAITH: Oo, at yung love eh hindi basta-basta nakikita o nahahawakan. Nararamdaman yun (faced him and smiled). Bakit baby, ano pa tanong mo?
SETH: Wala. Ahhh Mommy kasi lagi kita namimiss.
FAITH: Ako din, sobra (and embraced him tight).
SETH: Atsaka Mommy tinanong ko yun kasi… ah kasi… (smiled, hid under his pillow and tucked himself under his blanket).
FAITH: Eeeee bakit nga?
SETH: Ahhh…ahhhm… kasi mommy INIISIP KITA PALAGI KASI MAHAL KITA.

Oh God, I could not ask for more. ❤
